Refresh tracking code

When setting up DNI, you will notice a button in the tracking code called Refresh Tracking Code. This is a feature that is used to refresh or push changes that have been made recently to DNI (tracking sources, target numbers, tracking numbers, and tracking code).

This button can be useful in the following scenarios:

  • If Dynamic number insertion does not work in a specific geographic location.
    • Example - Tracking script works in the US but not in the UK.
  • The customer makes changes to a large amount of tracking numbers that are set up for DNI.
    • Using this button can push the changes to the webpage faster.
  • Updates to the display format of a number (clicking the eye icon next to the tracking number)

These are a few examples of when this can be a good troubleshooting tool. It can be utilized for other uses as well. The good news is that this button is used to refresh, so pressing it will not cause any harm to the account.
