Changing the Caller ID

There are a few different places within CTM where you can change how the Caller ID is displayed. 

    1. Caller ID section of the Call Settings, under More Options. 
      • Navigate to Numbers > Call Settings >  Click on Edit next to the Call Setting the Tracking Number is in > scroll to the Caller ID section.
      • Click on the arrow next to More Options.
      • Toggle on Show tracking number as caller ID for incoming calls if you want to show the Tracking Number as Caller ID.Screenshot 2024-03-13 at 3.25.55 PM.png
    2. Connecting section of a Queue.
      • Navigate to Flows > Queues and click edit next to the Queue you want to configure.
        Under Caller ID to show to agents, you can choose User Caller Number or Use Tracking Number, or specific Tracking Numbers.Screenshot 2024-03-13 at 3.31.53 PM.png
    3. Forwarding Rules of a Receiving Number.
      • Navigate to Numbers > Receiving Numbers and click edit next to the Receiving Number you want to configure.
      • When forwarding phone calls to this phone number you may use this option to adjust the outbound Caller ID set on the forwarded phone call directed to this Receiving Number. This will only work when forwarding to one number.Screenshot 2024-03-13 at 3.37.31 PM.png
