These are some frequently asked questions about two-factor authentication.

Q: Which roles require 2FA?

A: Two-factor authentication (2FA) is mandatory for all users.

Q: Will the old codes be deactivated if I create new backup codes?

A: When new codes are created, the old ones become invalid. 

Q: How often do I have to log in using 2FA? 

A: For Agency Administrators and Administrators, it is every day. Other user roles depend on the multifactor setting in the leading client's security settings.

Q: How long is the 2FA code active? 

A: The code is active for 10 minutes for text messaging and OTP, and 15 minutes for email.

Q: Can I use a Tracking Number as my 2FA phone number?

A: No, we recommend against using a Tracking Number for your 2FA phone number for security purposes.
