These are some frequently asked questions about two-factor authentication.

Q: Can two-factor authentication (2FA) be disabled?

A: No, once 2FA is enabled, it cannot be disabled. 

Q: If I create new backup codes, are the old codes deactivated?

A: Yes, when new codes are created, the old ones become invalid. 

Q: Which roles is 2FA mandatory?

A: 2FA is mandatory for all users.

Q: How often do I have to log in using 2FA? 

A: For Agency Administrators and Administrators, it is every day. Other user roles are dependent on the multifactor setting in the leading client's security settings.

Q: How long is the 2FA code active? 

A: The code is good for 10 minutes for text messaging and OTP and 30 days for email.
