Separate FIRST NAME and LAST NAME
Greetings. We have been asked by many clients why we cannot separate the FN + LN a) in auto-captured data and b) within a contact record. Every CRM or LMS that I have ever seen requires these to be separate values.
Granted there are some challenges for this to work 100% of the time automatically (e.g. with a business name), but it seems to me that there could at least be some process to properly separate these values in most instances where we are collecting the caller's name.
Furthermore, the system at present does not even allow a user to go in and enter or correct FN and LN independently. This does pose its own set of issues upon exporting data.
