You may come across issues when using Looker Studio where you will need to revoke authorization to a connector and then reconnect in order to move forward. These are some reasons you may need to revoke authorization:
- Looker Studio is connected to an account, and you want to connect to a different account.
- You receive an error when attempting to link your account.
- You want to change the connector to an agency-level connector.
Steps to revoke authorization to a connector in Looker Studio:
- Go to your list of connectors.
- Then, revoke access here.
- You may see this window as you click through. Click the "Connected Apps" link to remove access here.
- Then go back to the previous tab and click "Remove Anyway."
- After having done the previous steps, you get to this screen.
- Then, click Authorize. You will be prompted to sign in with Google, and then click Allow for the connector.
- Lastly, you will get to this screen. This should ensure that you will start from step one with any further attempts to connect.
