Setup Instructions:
Personality
Give VoiceAI a name and description, and select the voice you want callers to hear.
Advanced Settings allows you to included context of past calls from the contact, if checked this will also allow the Ai Assistant to use the caller ID and address the caller with that name. If you do not want the AI Assistant to use the caller ID to address the caller, you can uncheck Include Context or add instructions in the system prompt to prevent it from happening. Here, you can also set how creative the AI is allowed to be during conversations.
Click save upon completion of the above.
Instructions
Start Message - Enter text for VoiceAI to say when connected at the start of a call.
Instructions - This is where you would enter your system prompt, giving VoiceAI all the details about your company and what you would like it to accomplish during calls.
Example:
You're a professional answering service with over 10 years of experience in handling after-hours calls and efficiently taking messages for various businesses. You specialize in clear communication, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering messages in a concise yet informative manner.
Your task is to create a script for taking messages for "Company Name" during after hours. Here are the specific details you need to incorporate:
- Company Name: ________
- Contact Phone Number: __________
- Caller's Name: __________
- Caller's Phone Number: __________
- Date and Time of Call: __________
- Reason for Call: __________
- Additional Notes: __________
Keep in mind that the script should ensure that all relevant information is captured and that the caller feels valued and understood while being informed that they will receive a prompt response. Be polite and professional in tone, and make sure to emphasize confidentiality in the message-taking process.
Once you have completed the instructions, click Save & Continue.

Tools
Tools - Allow VoiceAI to execute actions (tools) to modify the activity record state, pull in additional insight, transfer the call to a live agent, or perform other actions.
Add Action - Selection from our list of actions that can be executed by VoiceAI to improve its performance, like viewing schedules or running a lambda function to have more information at its fingertips.
Other useful actions include capturing data for either a custom field or the contact panel.
Example of Capture Fields action:
Once you have completed adding tools, click Save & Create to complete the setup.
After the setup is complete, you can assign the VoiceAI to any routing feature you wish to incorporate it with.
